The Junk Yard pirates are all about upcycling things that have been abandoned, restored, and repurposed. If you like natural art or home decor that is unlike anywhere else, this is a stop for you. Combine your artistic desires with a very green and economical choice, and make your home the envy of all those who see it!

Owners’ note: We are not actually a flea market. We repurpose salvaged and post-consumer ‘junk’ into usable furniture and accessories for homes, offices, and mancaves. We work out of our garage and then we haul it all to an area flea market 6 – 8 times a year. We don’t have just one market that we frequent, but several. We also take orders for custom pieces in our junktastic style.
I hope this helps you, and whether or not we are included in your article, I would enjoy reading it. Thanks

Artists and Fleas was co-founded by Amy Abrams and Ronen Glimer in 2003 as a weekly meet up for artists to get together, share their art, and find clientele. Before Flea Markets became popular in the area again, a former warehouse on North Street became home to over a hundred individual sellers every weekend.

Fast forward to 2014 this market that was a bunch of pop-up markets has now expanded into the indoors at Chelsea Market. Home to various artists doing show-and-tell, it’s now a daily theme at this location.
